Meet Laura

After 20 years building a career in large organisations, leading teams, managing operations and delivering for major brands, I decided it was time to create something of my own.

What started as an idea quickly became a full transformation project.

A downstairs accessible room in my home that had once been used as a cinema became the future home of Elevate Hair by Laura. Over months, I completely transformed the space into a luxury private salon, even building the feature rock wall myself after spotting inspiration on TikTok and deciding, why not?

At the same time, I immersed myself in the hair industry, training in extensions, learning the craft, and understanding what women truly need from their hair journey.

As someone who has worn hair extensions for much of my adult life, I know firsthand the confidence they can bring. But after taking a short break from wearing them and returning to get new hair fitted, I was shocked by the prices I was being quoted.

That was a turning point.

I knew I wanted to create something different. A place where women could access beautiful, confidence-boosting hair without feeling priced out.

Along the way, another mission became equally important.

I kept hearing stories from women experiencing hair thinning, especially through menopause, and how deeply that affected confidence and identity. That’s what led me to train in CombLine, allowing me to offer discreet solutions for women who want to feel like themselves again.

I don’t know exactly where this journey will take me, but I do know this:

If I can help women feel more confident, more comfortable and more like themselves, then I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.
